Guide to Mileage Accrual
International
Give your ANA number when making flight reservations with ANA and Air Nippon. You should also present your ANA Card / ANA Mileage Club Card when checking in for your flight. Refer to International Flight Mileage
Domestic
You can earn mileage when flying on domestic ANA by simply giving your ANA number when making your reservation. Refer to Domestic Flight Mileage
Hotels
At check-in, when you present your ANA Card / ANA Mileage Club Card, make sure that you also request ANA Mileage Club mileage accrual. Refer to Hotels

Please keep all necessary documents for retroactive registration (passenger receipt, boarding pass, receipt of payment etc.) until your mileage accrual for that flight has been confirmed.

Check your AMC number
* Your 10 digits AMC number will be required for making reservations, mileage accrual, redeeming and using awards, and making inquires.
(Please note that your AMC number differs from your Credit Card number)
* Each ANA number is considered as confidential information. ANA Mileage Club does not disclose any information regarding AMC number.
* In case of a lost or stolen card, and name change, ANA Mileage Club will reissue a ANA Mileage Club card with new number.
* Electronic money <Edy> number is indicated on the back of the card. Please note the number differs from AMC number and credit card number.
* Your name must be same as shown in your passport.
Mileage Validity
Mileage is valid until the end of the 36th month after the date of activity. Please confirm the validity of your earned mileage through the Internet ANA's home page: (at the "Members Only" Information Page) or on the Statement (itemized statement on mileage accrual). About your Password
You will need your password to check your mileage balance and other information such as your retroactive registration status when using Internet services.
*If you have joined ANA Mileage Club via the Internet, you should use the password that you registered when joining.
Your password may be changed through the Internet. The new password will be valid from the next time you access these services.
 
Did you forget your PIN?
To verify that the request for the PIN is made by the member, please enter your registered information in the following spaces. After verification for the PIN, we will send your PIN to your registered address within 1-2weeks (2-3weeks for addresses outside Japan).

Notification of Personal Information Changes
Please notify the ANA Mileage Club Service Center (if you are an ANA Card member, notify the relevant partner credit card company) about any changes in your address/ personal information registered at the ANA Mileage Club. "AMC Postal Saving Joint Card" members should also notify the Post Office of any changes. The Post Office requires a direct visit by the member. "ANA VISA Postal Savings Joint" members should notify ANA Card Center, the Post Office and Mitsui Sumitomo Card or JCB. If the notification is not completed or unsatisfactory, ANA cannot be held responsible for any omission, failure to deliver awards, or loss to the member in relation to mileage credit.
Retroactive Registration
Apply for retroactive registration when mileage registration is not made.
If you forgot register mileage for the use of flights or partner airlines, or if there is a difference between the actual mileage activity, apply for retroactive registration within 6 months from the date of activity.
After confirmation, the application for retroactive registration will be preceded.
* Retroactive registration may not be accepted or requesting period may vary by the partner companies.

Send the documents of confirmation, as listed below, with a memo stating your AMC number and name, to the Retroactive Registration section. Retroactive Registration will be accepted within 6 months from the day of activity. Please note that retroactive registration may not be accepted in case of no documents of confirmation, lack of documents of confirmation or no notification of AMC number and name (Please note that the mailing address for retroactive registration differs according to the content of activity).
* For retroactive registration, please allow about 4 to 6 weeks from mailing the documents of confirmation. For registration status, please confirm by automated telephone/fax service or ANA SKY WEB "Members Only Information Page".

* Retroactive registration for ANA domestic flights can be handled through the Internet home page. Jump to the "Members Only" Information page at ANA's home page.
* It is possible to apply for retroactive registration along with your application for new membership, only if it is within 6 months from the date of activity. Retroactive registration can not be accepted after 6 months(valid postmarked date) have passed since the date of activity. In addition, nonmembers retroactive registration will only be accepted in condition that application form was already send to ANA Mileage Club and are on procedure to be ANA Mileage Club member, (Application for retroactive registration alone cannot be accepted as application for membership)
* Documents mailed to each Retroactive Registration Section will not be returned. Please send the original documents, and keep copies for your personal records if necessary.
Documents of Confirmation
Please keep the following documents for confirmation of your mileage accrual until your mileage statement arrives. No miles will be credited for cases where the appropriate documents of confirmation are not provided.
If you forget to register mileage for the use of a flight or when using a partner airline, or if there is a difference from actual mileage activity, you can apply for Retroactive Registration within 6 months (valid postmarked date)of the date of activity by using the following methods.

By mailing the following items to The AMC Service Center.
(1) Passenger Receipt(copy is acceptable.)
(2) Half of Boarding Pass(original.)
(3) A memo stating your AMC number and name.

Others : Receipt
* Both Passenger Receipt and Original Boarding Pass are to be sent within 6 months after your boarding date.
* When traveling with e-ticket, members must provide a document confirming the fare paid, such as an itinerary issued by the applicable airline.
* The date and the name must be printed.
