| ANA to Commence Code-share Agreement with LOT Polish Airlines
|
|
| |
|
| TOKYO April 25, 2005-ANA will commence code-sharing
operations with Star Alliance partner LOT Polish Airlines (LOT)
from June 1 this year. The code-share flights will be operated by
LOT using Boeing 737 and Embraer aircraft in a two-class configuration,
and will link the Polish capital, Warsaw, with Paris Charles de
Gaulle and Frankfurt. |
| |
| ANA passengers travelling to and from Warsaw on this service will
have the convenience of doing so under a single airline code (NH),
making their onward journeys from the ANA European gateways of Paris
and Frankfurt easier and smoother. |
| |
LOT Miles and More members and ANA Mileage Club members are already
able to accrue and redeem mileage on flights operated by either
carrier, thanks to the membership of both carriers in Star Alliance.
In addition they also enjoy through check-in and through baggage*
services.
*subject to certain restrictions |
| |
| “This is a logical and welcome development in the relationship
between ourselves and Star Alliance partner, LOT,” said ANA
Executive Vice President International Affairs, Katsuhiko Kitabayashi.
“We are extremely happy to work ever more closely with LOT
and offer greater convenience to the increasing number of Japanese
passengers travelling to the city of Warsaw for either business
or pleasure, “ he continued. |
