tickets reserved in an applicable class on an eligible fare. |

Persons other than member wishing to use an award must be registered for
eligibility.

| Eligible Flights |
Awards can be used on Lufthansa German Airlines (LH), Austrian Airlines (OS),
LOT Polish Airlines (LO), Singapore Airlines (SQ), Thai Airways International
(TG), TAP Portugal (TP), Asiana Airlines (OZ), United Airlines (UA), Swiss
International Air Lines (LX) and Air New Zealand (NZ). However, awards cannot be used for code share flights
operated by other airlines. And awards cannot be used for code share carrying
other airlines operated by Lufthansa German Airlines, Austrian Airlines, LOT
Polish Airlines, Thai Airways International, TAP Portugal, Asiana Airlines, United Airlines, Swiss
International Air Lines and Air New Zealand (NZ), Scandinavian Airlines (SK), Turkish Airlines (TK).
*Seat availability is subject to limitations. (Some flights are not applicable.)

Star Alliance Upgrade Award cannot be used for infant without
a seat reservation for Singapore Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Thai Airways
International, Asiana Airlines and United Airlines. Please contact each airlines
for the terms and conditions of the eligibility for infant fare. |

| Validity of Upgrade Award |
|
|
Once Star Alliance Upgrade Award is requested, it
is valid for reserved flight only. |
|
|
| Changes |
| After reservation is confirmed, changes on passenger name, flight number,
date, sector or class are not applicable. |
|
| Cancellation only for upgrade |
 |
Cancellation only for upgrade is not applicable. Not
only the upgrade, but the original reservation (the lower class) will also be
cancelled if the Star Alliance Upgrade Award is cancelled. |

| If you wish to change the itinerary |
|
Please cancel the original class of reservation, and apply for
Star Alliance Upgrade Award through internet, 24 hours prior to departure. |

If you wish to cancel unused Upgrade Award, please
cancel it exemplified above prior to your reserved flight. Miles exchanged for
the award will be refunded to the account and refund fee will not apply only
if the cancellation is made prior to departure (same as refund for unused miles
of ANA International Upgrade Award). However, mileage expired at the time of
refund will not be returned. In addition, if you fail to contact prior to your
reserved flight, mileage will not be returned. |

| Waitlist |
|
Waitlisting and upgrade on the day of the departure at the airport
are not accepted. |

| Notes |
|
If advanced seat reservation or special requests (wheelchair,
special meal and others) are made with the original reservation, please inform
the airline with your requests once again after applying for the Star Alliance
Upgrade Award. The requests may not be recorded due to the change of class. |
|
The original reservation for the lower class will automatically
be cancelled once the upgrade is confirmed. |
|
The maximum number of upgrade accepted for each application will
by for 4 persons. |
|
Upgrade certificate and reservation number will not be issued
even after completion of Upgrade Reward. |

Amounts for the following air passenger duties may differ according
to cabin class.
Upgrade Awards by mileage are also required to pay these duties.
Please note that the difference in the amount of duty varies according to the
boarding class for each ticket issued and will be collected at the airport. |
